For this month's Debut Series, we welcome the Electro mix "Welcome to My Dancefloor" by Bassgate. Bassgate is the latest project from DJ/producer Jonathan Wagner, and marks the culmination of the career of an ascending master at his craft. Jonathan’s dossier of clubs and residencies reads like a “Who’s Who” of the nightclub scene. He has has played with some of the game's biggest talent such as Keoki, DJ Icey, Rabbit in the Moon, Faust and Shortee, and more.
Genres mean nothing to Bassgate and you can hear that in this mix. At any Bassgate show, you can expect an all out assault of Electro, House, Breaks, Booty Bass, and Dubstep. Many of which are his own edits and full out remixes.
Never one to rest, Jonathan has also been active in the studio with Jamal “Rory Breaker” Lasha producing remixes as the WundaTwinz. Their most recent Jungle version of Jay-Z’s “Can I
Get a…” was downloaded more than 200 times in its first week of being available online.
