Mode.Radio's Weekly Mixes #21--KevinO--Live and Direct

Aah, Mr. Kevin Owens, aka DJ KevinO...One of the hardest working DJs, now a papa, in the Southern US. A good friend of Mode.Radio, we have featured Kevin plenty of times, the latest being his mix he did last year for a Halloween party. I figured for the Thanksgiving holiday week, Mode.Radio fans may need something to shake the turkey/holiday away. This mix was literally done "live and direct" at an Atlanta event and features truly groove filled rhythms in this 2 hour set. Again, no tracklisting, but after you listen, you care. You can check out mixes from Kevin and his crew at www.deephouse.com. Enjoy!

Radio Ready--Kevin O--Sampson St. "Last Call"

In Atlanta, the parties at the Sampson St. Lofts in Old 4th Ward were notorious for many reasons. This summer, the last party EVER was held with some of the best DJs in the city coming out. We were able to get a great set from an old friend of Mode.Radio's, Kevin O! This is an unusual set because it's more techno than people are used to hearing from Kevin. There is no tracking listing, but it's a great set, so enjoy!

Radio Ready--KevinO--Halloween Mix 2011

The last time we heard a mix from Atlanta's KevinO was in September, 2010. So when he sent me his Halloween Mix, I knew it was time to bring him back into the Radio Ready ranks. This mix was done live during an underground Halloween party at the Sampson Street Lofts in Atlanta, in front of 1000 people! This mix is full of deep house goodness with the feel of a late night party. You can check out all of Kevin's mixes on his Soundcloud. Enjoy!

Radio Ready--KevinO--Summer 2010

Last time we heard from KevinO was in November 2009, so Mode.Radio is waay over due for a new mix. There's no tracklisting, but this month can put you in the summer mood...Enjoy!
