Debut Series 55--Ronin & Nesta--Opening Set for Danny Howells

In searching for new mixes, I stumbled upon this opening mix for Danny Howells from Beirut's Ronin & Nesta. This tag team started with their radio program (now podcast) "Beirut in the Mix." They have opened for John Digweed, Armand Van Helden, Zero 7 and more. Since I was featuring the Danny Howells' set from B018 that they opened for, I thought it would be appropriate to feature this mix. Sorry but there's no tracklisting...Enjoy!

I've had this mix for a while but finally decided to feature it on Mode.Radio! ATL's own Rob Wonder dropped this mix in 2010 and it's a great collection of dubstep, hip-hop, and classic reggae. Rob Wonder has worked with artists such as Big Boi, Raekwon, Rick Ross and Sleepy Brown and is influential in the ATL music scene. Enjoy!

Debut Series 54--Purple Project--In the Club

Based in Switzerland, Purple Project has been on the scene for quite a while. Eric and Oliver have been DJin since 1992 and both of them have a lot of experience and success in the dj and club scene. Their music style is electro-house. Since 1992 they experienced many gigs all over Switzerland, Canada (Clubtour), Italy, USA, Ukraine, France, Ibiza, Hungary and
Germany.  A few years ago, they also started with producing and releasing their own tracks. At the moment, they have a close relationship with the labels Houseworks, Egoiste, Ministry of Sound, Zooland Rec., Attractive Rec. Debut Series 53-Mindub--Underground Alarm Clock Session 7

Nashville based DJ Mindub (Tim Hiber) has been on the scene since the early 2000's. I first learned about him while I was hosting "Houseworks" on WRAS Atlanta 88.5 FM. He originally started DJing in Florida, then he moved to Nashville TN and hosted The Underground Alarm Clock on WRVU 91.1 FM for many years. There he became well known for his deep house sounds, Mindub set the scene off proper with his Underground Alarm Clock series. Here is Session 7 of the series, released in January 2012. Our latest Stash mix comes from British DJ and Producer, Alex Metric. Alex started getting notices for his producing skills in 2008 and in 2009, he was one of the DJs on BBC's "In New DJs We Trust." He has since left the radio show and has gone to produce tracks for Depeche Mode, Bloc Party, and a new track with Steve Angello called "Open Your Eyes."
