Mode.Radio's Weekly Mix #54--Richie Hawtin--Essential Mix, Live from LA, January 30, 2016

Yes, you read the title correctly...this weekly mix was broadcasted yesterday on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix

And it's phenomenal!

Some people consider Ritchie Hawtin a British DJ. Some people say he's a Canadian DJ and still some call him a Detroit DJ. In actuality, he's all 3, Born in the UK, Ritchie later moved to Windsor, Canada, across the border from Detroit. He started the wave of techno DJs that came out of the Detroit area in the late 80's. He has since evolved to a producer and a record label exec.

Enjoy!

Debut Series 42--Illementree--Evening Delite

Illementree is a DJ from Canada, who sent us this mix, Evening Delite, a couple of months ago on Mode.Radio's Soundcloud group. We loved this mix so much, we decided to have it with two other Dubstep mixes for these next two weeks.

From Grand Prairie, Canada, Illementree co-founded, "Eargasm Music Productions" with his colleague, Tyler Cruickshank. Illementree's slick style of mixing exploded over the city of Grande Prairie. He can also be found collaborating with Brad Ross under the name
"Mel-Oddix". You can check out Eargasm's Facebook page Here:
